What do the courses involve?

The courses include a combination of home-based e-learning, one-to-one tutor led Skype meetings, web seminars, training videos, books and much more. Following completion of the e-learning section of the course, you will be required to undertake the practical element in one of our academies in Gloucestershire.

Who attends these courses?

The courses are attended by a mixture of beginners, trained therapists, college graduates, nurses and even doctors and dentists.

What experience do I need?

All of these courses are open to qualified nurses, physicians or medical health professionals. We also have courses for beginners who have no experience and have recently chosen skincare as a career (admission criteria).

What qualification will I receive and how will this benefit me?

Successful completion of the course will provide you with internationally recognized certification enabling you to undertake a new career within aesthetic skincare. This is a highly rewarding career that is increasingly becoming more in demand and it will enable you to achieve a high earning career often within a short time scale. What are the career options open to me after completing the course/s?

The majority of students go on to work in skin clinics or medi-spas; some internationally or on cruise ships, and others in more advanced aesthetic clinics which specialize in lasers, fillers, etc. There are also options in doctor surgeries, dentists and even hospitals. Much depends upon your level of education; the course that you choose to pursue; and especially the career goals that you set for yourself.  

What is the duration of the course?

The courses vary in length, however e-learning can be undertaken in your own time followed by practical sessions in the UK over 6-22 days. However, some of our smaller courses last only a few days. All practical sessions are at weekends meaning you can practice alongside your current responsibilities. Please see the courses section for exact timescales.  

What is the overall cost?

The courses are very cost effective and our academy prices are competitive in the market. There are grants and loans available for several courses, some of which are listed here. In addition to the cost of the course, you will also need to budget for accommodation, books, your uniform and your travel to and from the academy. Some of the above is included in various courses and we can work with you to help where needed.  

We will collect and return you to Heathrow Airport. We cannot collect from Gatwick and / or Stansted. If you wish to fly to Gatwick or Stansted, you will need to take a train to Oxford where we will collect you.

I'll be traveling to the UK from overseas

Many of our students travel to the UK from overseas countries. We have prepared a 'Info for Overseas Delegates' which will help to make the process as smooth as possible, Please ask us for a copy.

Where can I stay?

We understand how important it is to have somewhere suitable to live when you are studying overseas, many miles away from home, family and friends. For this reason, there are several types of accommodation from which you can choose as follows:

Local Guest Houses / Bed & Breakfast

Prices in the villages vary from between £49 and higher. Accommodation is confirmed on a first-come - first-served basis and it is advisable to book as soon as possible. All local B&B hotels require a security deposit.

Where do I start? Do I have to do the courses in a particular order or can I just pick and choose? Which ones are related?
